Typically we do not require a signature to deliver pharmaceuticals, but we can require one if necessary. This is dependent on the pharmacy following compliance requirements based on the type of medication being delivered. Keep in mind that if you require a signature and the customer is not home to receive that package, it will be sent back to the merchant at a charge.
Trellus has the ability to collect signatures for each delivery. We send out a tracking link via text message which also allows the customer to sign for their delivery to ensure contactless delivery. The driver can also collect a signature if the customer is home at the time of delivery. The signatures are captured and uploaded to your Trellus account.
